Almost Done!
over 1 year ago – Mon, Oct 17, 2022 at 05:54:58 AM

Games arrived this week.

This weekend we hit it hard and fulfilled almost all the US orders!

457 shipments

457 Packages!

All the collectors boxes and box sets will be fulfilled next weekend because the shipping boxes to fit them did not arrive in time. Shipping says delivery for Friday and I expect to be able to knock all 170 or so orders out on Sunday.

Asia & Australia territories - Fulfillment centers have received goods and we are in the queue

EU Territories - Boat is still awaiting unloading at Hamburg.

Canada - Will be forwarding the goods needed for fulfillment from the US. Will update asap about that. Fulfillment center has not noted whether we should box each order up here and freight it or freight the goods for packing in Canada.

AT LONG LAST!!!
over 1 year ago – Mon, Aug 29, 2022 at 04:58:01 PM

We have hit the high seas!

Not the actual boat carrying the books

Everything has been completed and is loaded on a ship headed to the fulfillment destinations. There's still port dates that are somewhat backlogged due to the state of the world and rail to the warehouses but we are much closer to completing the order.

Track the ships!

US/CAN - https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/CMA-CGM-JULES-VERNE-IMO-9454450-MMSI-229190000

EU - https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/CMA-CGM-RIVOLI-IMO-9839193-MMSI-228397600

AUS / Asia / RoW - All being hub shipped so no vessel tracking

ADDRESS CHANGES - PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ON KICKSTARTER!!!

It's so easy to miss these messages because there are 100's per week and most are spam. Email [email protected] if you need assistance.

Our amazing graphic designer took some nicer photos of the final products.

No news is good news
almost 2 years ago – Mon, Jun 27, 2022 at 12:38:32 PM

It's about that monthly time where I get to writing an update, but the fact of the matter is there is no news which is great. Everything is in mass production.

I've approved copyright certificates, carton markings, and logistics schedules which is all very boring paperwork stuff, but by this time next month I expect to have the final mass production copy in my hand and then in short order the shipping will commence to hubs around the world and then into your hands.

I did have the wonderful ability to have the factory pre production copy in my hands at Origins Game Fair and show it off to a bunch of vendors who may be interested in carrying it after it's fulfillment on their web stores and they were all quite excited to see the product see how it could aid and function for world  building.

Short and Sweet

We are in PRODUCTION!!!!

Mass production is underway all files are triple checked all samples are approved and now it's just printing, shipping, and fulfillment.

This feels like a long time coming, but honestly the amount of work and effort to produce an entire product in your spare time is monumental. A lot of learning and figuring stuff out, but I thank each and every one of you that stuck with this project to this point!

D&D -

So I wanted to share some stuff about my D&D session. We've been playing the same campaign for over 2 years now meeting weekly, and last Thursday the group said it was their favorite session ever!

So to get a general gist of what happened is in the very 2nd session the party arrived in the world we were playing in (session 1 was on the boat traveling here where the party sort of formed up do to a mysterious murder on the ship). And they learned of an ancient heirloom left in the ancestral home of some dwarves that had to abandon it and would pay dearly for the safe retrieval of it. In other exploration around town one of the larger guilds was also searching for this item and offered a larger price. The party retrieved it and gave it to the guild leader who in short order was assassinated and the artifact stolen (it was a ring that when touched burned the players with fire damage as they didn't know how to wield its power). A few days later at a gladiatorial match they talked their way into the high official box and saw the prince of the realm wearing the very same ring.

Through a lot of other quests they found out there were 4 artifacts made that each was the key to entering that elemental plane fire, water, earth, and wind. If all 4 were united the elemental planes could wage war against the material place and basically end of days stuff would transpire. They tracked down a 2nd key and now the party is close to locating the 3rd ring as well.

Somewhere in the middle of all this the part was in the capitol and one of the guilds killed the king and usurped the throne, but the prince escaped. That was like FIFTY sessions ago.

Now on a discreet island in the middle of the ocean in a little pirate town called Red Harbor they find out the price has been seen around asking about the party. Basically it ended in a huge epic showdown where the prince escaped with the other ring the party had found and ended up with his sailing his small ship away and the party casting water walk on our paladins mount and galloping out to sea after the prince and destroying his ship and taking the keys back from his drowned corpse with a water breathing amulet they found like 30 sessions ago.

As a DM I had to see that a small sailing ship travels approx 2mph and a horse galloping across rough terrain could cover 60feet per 3 seconds in game and do all the math to figure out they could indeed catch up to the prince.

As the DM I fully expected the price to escape with their key and they would have to track him down for a showdown later before finding the 4th key, but I couldn't just 'make' that happen and they absolutely figured out how to stop him then and there.

Didn't go as I had planned, but the party felt like they had really accomplished something epic.

Sorry if this read super rambly and all over the place.
